Well, you’ve made it 12 days into the New Year. How’s that New Year’s Resolution going? Are you sticking with it? Need an excuse to drop it? Try these excuses: “I’m allergic to exercise”, or “I’m allergic to work”.These are certainly reasonable excuses — at least for some people.Exercise-induced anaphylaxis and exercise-induced asthma result in worsening allergic symptoms in certain people when they exercise, and occupational asthma causes worsening asthma symptoms when people go to work. So, if your New Year’s Resolution included working harder or exercising more, then you may be off the hook — you just might be allergic to it.
