Apparently 1 out of every 3 homes in the U.S. has a significant amount of mouse allergen in its inside environment, particularly in house dust. Even worse, this mouse allergen appears to increase the risk for asthma in those same homes – by a whopping 50%!

This news was announced in a conference at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, as seen in the following video:
